WELCOME TO ST. PAUL PARISH IN GREENWICH

Dear Friends,

As you may already know, our Bishop has allowed us to reopen churches for public Mass the weekend of June 13/14 subject to CDC guidelines, and CT State requirements.  Accordingly, our normal Mass schedule will resume at St. Paul the weekend of June 13/14, but the church capacity has been limited to 25% per Mass.  To meet this requirement we have implemented a reservations system for Sunday Masses, which will be available starting on Monday, June 8th.

For online users, from our website click on the Make a Mass Reservation button.  This will take you to the St. Paul EventBrite portal where you will be asked to select a date, Mass time, number of tickets, and to provide your name and email.  You will then receive a confirmation email from EventBrite with your tickets attached.  Please print them and bring them to church with you.  Alternatively, you can download your ticket on your smartphone and show it at the door.  Our ushers will instruct you and direct you to your pew.

For a household of 3 or more OR if you prefer to use a phone, please call the St. Paul Parish Office at (203)531-8741 ext. 4, or dial (203)542-0551 Monday through Friday between 9am and 5pm to make a reservation.  If no one answers, please leave a message with your name, phone number, desired Mass time, and number of tickets.  Every phone reservation will be confirmed by a call back from our Staff to ensure that we have a sufficient number of seats available.  To help us keep track of seat availability, please, use only extension 4 or the direct dial number to reserve your seats.

Here are some things you need to keep in mind of before you come to Church on Sunday:

- Please remember that our space is limited due to CT State's restrictions at this time, and you may not be able to attend Mass without prior reservation
- Please arrive in ample time prior to Mass (we strongly recommend at least 15 minutes);
- The only church entrance will be through the Rotunda on the rectory's side (where the Pieta is);
- Wear a face mask from the time you arrive, except when receiving Holy Communion;
- While in the pew, maintain 6 feet distance from another person or family around you;
- We strongly encoourage you to use personal hand sanitizer before receiving Communion;
- There will be no offertory procession or normal collection, but your support of our parish is greatly needed.  Kindly deposit your donation in a designated basket at the entrance to the church or consider OnLine Giving available on our parish website;
- Please refrain from any physical contact, including at the Sign of Peace;
- There will be a single line for Holy Communion with clearly marked 6 feet intervals;
- Holy Communion will be distributed in the handKeep your face mask on until you are ready to receive, and if you are wearing gloves they must be removed;
- If you prefer to receive Holy Communion on the tongue, please, approach the priest at the end of the Communion line;
- To exit after Mass, please follow the instructions of our usher or the priest.

Finally, please remember that despite all of these and other protective measures, COVID-19 still poses serious health risks.  Make your decision to attend Mass at this time carefully.  We are here for you, and God willing we will be here long after this pandemic is over.  Thank you so much for your patience, cooperation, prayers and your support.  Once again, I am delighted to welcome you back to celebrate Mass in our church again.

In Christ,

Fr. Les
