WELCOME TO ST. PAUL PARISH IN GREENWICH
Dear Parishioners and Friends,
St. Paul Church is open for public Masses subject to CDC guidelines, and CT State requirements. While our normal Mass schedule has resumed, our seating capacity is limited. At this time we can accomodate up to 80 unrelated individuals per Mass. All available seats are marked with "Open Seat" marks for either singles, couples, or multi person families, with a 6ft distance from the next "Open Seat" mark. Please use them as a guide to help you keep physical distance from unrelated person in your pew. Also, I will ask you to continue to use our reservations system for Sunday Masses only (Mass Reservations button below). If you prefer to use a phone, please call the Parish Office at (203)531-8741 ext. 4, or direct dial (203)542-0551 Monday through Friday between 9am and 5pm. You will receive a call back from our Staff only when we have reached the capacity and there are no more seats available for the Mass of your choice.
Here are some practical points:
- Please arrive in ample time prior to Mass (we recommend at least 15 minutes).
- Use the church entrance via the Rotunda (where the Pieta is).
- Face masks are required while in church, except for Holy Communion.
- Maintain physical distance (6 ft) from another unrelated person in the pew.
- Bring personal hand sanitizer to use before receiving Communion.
- There will be no offertory procession or normal collection, but your support of our parish is greatly needed. Kindly deposit your donation in a designated basket at the entrance to the church or sign up for OnLine Giving on our parish website.
- Please refrain from any physical contact, including at the Sign of Peace.
- Our ushers will direct you at Holy Communion time.
- Holy Communion will be distributed in the hand. If you are wearing gloves, remove them prior to receiving. Keep your face mask on until you are ready to receive.
- If you receive Holy Communion on the tongue, please, come at the end of the line.
- To exit after Mass, please, follow the instructions of our ushers or the priest.
FYI, the church is sanitized and disinfected after each Mass or event, including weekly electrostatic bioblast cleaning. However, with all the protective measures and protocols, COVID-19 still poses serious health risks, so please, make your decision to attend Mass in person carefully. As always, I am grateful for your patience, cooperation, prayers, and for your continued support of Our Parish.
May Mary, Queen of Peace, continue to watch over us +
